The Sailing with School project, used by over 2000 students in the three-year period 2023/24, as an Educational Trip organized by Italian schools, was an opportunity for discussion with the IC Parco di Veio School for about two years, in particular with the Sports Science teachers, to be implemented using Regional and European funding.

The YES Cup (Young European Sailors Cup) project, part of turopeanin Project "Sailing with thw School" was created to meet the particular training needs of some 2nd grade secondary schools in Lazio engaged in the Areas of Sports Training, Technological Innovation and Educational Experimentation DADA Students already engaged in sports activities have been chosen, nautical and technological, for the specificity of their training courses in order to enhance, as envisaged in the proposed project, a Competitive Sports Event for non-professional sailors with a "European" communicative value.

The “Free to Navigate” project represents a small variation of Sailing with School, which has been running in Italian schools for over 20 years. Learning to sail is not only a sporting experience but also an opportunity for inclusion for students with disabilities and an opportunity to address scientific issues, with a STEAM approach, and historical-environmental issues related to the island of Ventotene. The general project, already funded, as sub-projects, in other calls for proposals from the Lazio Region, has overall involved several thousand students from schools not eligible for funding from Regional and European calls.
